The UN Sustainable Development Goals outline urgent global priorities, yet researchers in AI and robotics often lack clear ways to translate their work toward these targets. Without practical tools, promising innovations risk stalling before reaching meaningful application and impact.
We created a 173-card deck that helps AI and robotics researchers connect their work to the SDGs and their sub-targets. Using a simple thumbs up/down/maybe system, the deck guides brainstorming, application mapping, and prototype ideation—making it easier to direct research toward deployable, high-impact outcomes.
The deck was delivered to robotics CEOs and research leaders worldwide, providing a practical tool to align innovation with the UN SDGs. It is now used to guide the development of research agendas and applications with global impact.
